TasOGS is privileged to be able to provide specialist endocrinology and physician expertise to Hobart women under the care of Dr Kristina McDonnell.

Hormonal complexity is often a component of gynaecological and obstetric issues. Whether managing severe menopause symptoms, diabetes, PCOS, thyroid, androgenic, adrenal, hypothalamic or pituitary hormone problems, Dr McDonnell offers expert and individualised care.

Additionally, Kristina has a special interest and expertise in Obstetric Medicine, managing acute and chronic medical problems that exist before or develop during pregnancy. In pregnant women with co-existing medical conditions, Dr McDonnell works in partnership with TasOGS Obstetrician Dr Kirsten Connan to ensure the health and safety of women and their babies.

TasOGS is fortunate to be the only Hobart Women's Health centre to have a specialist physician with endocrinology and maternal medicine expertise working directly in the practice.
