At TasOGS we encourage you to meet with your GP for pre-pregnancy planning. However for some women, pregnancies will require extra planning. Having a pre-pregnancy consultation with an Obstetrician can help to answer any questions you have and ensure your pregnancy is as low-risk as possible.
TasOGS offers a group practice model that provides experienced obstetric care for you and your family during your pregnancy and birth. Our obstetricians work together to ensure your particular pregnancy needs are met and that you are provided with the safest possible birth.
Our doctors at TasOGS provide a full range of gynaecological consultations for a wide variety of issues that including heavy bleeding, pelvic pain, endometriosis, infertility, contraceptive advice, incontinence, ovarian cysts, menopause, PAP smears and Well Woman checks.
Many gynaecological surgeries can now be performed with laparoscopic, or keyhole techniques, avoiding larger scars and speeding your recovery. At TasOGS we offer this for many gynaecological presentations including contraception, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and for women requiring hysterectomies.
