In addition to our team of TasOGS clinicians, the smooth running of our practice and the care of our patients would not be possible without the wonderful work from our talented TasOGS administration team!

Mollie D'Arcy

TasOGS Receptionist

We are delighted to have Mollie D'Arcy as one of our fabulous TasOGS receptionists!

Mollie is originally from Bothwell but now calls Hobart home. She took a round about way of getting into the health administration but we are very glad she made it! After completing a Bachelor of Arts she travelled to Scotland and Canada on working holiday visas. She spent several years alternating between office temping and hospitality positions, but decided administrative customer service was for her.

When Mollie returned to Hobart, with her Scottish lad in tow, she took a receptionist position with The Watkins Practice Group. For the next 6 years she worked between two practice locations, performing reception and admin duties for IVF specialists, Dermatologists, and an Immunologist.

Since the birth of her son Finley in 2014 Mollie has been curious to work on the other side of fertility. She has taking a keen interest in the world of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and now loves supporting women through their fertility and pregnancy journeys, as well as general healthcare.

Grace James

TasOGS Receptionist

TasOGS was delighted to have Grace join our fabulous reception team in March 2018!

Grace brings a number of years of medical reception experience to her role, and is very excited to join a practice focusing on women’s healthcare.

In 2015 Grace married the love of her life, Chris – and as a keen fisherman we’d say Grace was his best catch! Grace and Chris spend most of their spare time camping and traveling within Australia, and while at home they enjoy the company of two fur babies, Fleur and Lola.

We are thrilled to have Grace join the TasOGS team and look forward to you getting to know her friendly smile at the front desk.

TasOGS is delighted to confirm that Grace and Chris are expecting their first baby in July 2018. We wish them all the very best with their journey into parenthood ahead.

Shannon Baker

TasOGS Receptionist

Shannon joined the TasOGS reception team in May 2018, but is no stranger to TasOGS – she was one of our first patients! Kirsten delivered Isaiah in August 2015. Shannon and her husband Daniel have three other children – Jacob, Jemima and Maisy, and they relocated to Hobart from Melbourne at the end of 2013.

Shannon comes to TasOGS from a background in nursing and reception roles. Shannon obtained her Bachelor of Science (Nursing) degree in Melbourne, and worked in several hospitals across Melbourne before joining the Royal Children’s Hospital where she spent ten years thoroughly enjoying her role as a theatre nurse.

Shannon is excited to be combining her love of the medical world with her experience in reception roles, and she will look forward to greeting you when you arrive at TasOGS.

Molly McDonald

TasOGS Receptionist

Molly has undertaken a variety of medical administrative roles across the medical industry over the past seven years. After recently opting for a change of career, she quickly realised just how much she missed the medical industry; so has returned!  Molly is very excited to be joining the team at TasOGS and we are very delighted to have her join our team.

In her free time Molly enjoys completing D.I.Y projects and crafts at home, she has a love of music; watching live bands and even playing the odd tune on her guitar but most of all Molly loves spending time with her baby; Poppet the Chihuahua.

Molly is thrilled to be able to increase her knowledge within another medical field.  She is really looking forward to creating lasting relationships with TasOGS patients, as well as working with the growing TasOGS team!
